Morgan Stanley is seeking a strong candidate for its Payroll Information Systems team. The selected applicant will join the existing team to support the group's applications and implementation of its projects. The role will involve business analysis, testing, and reporting. Flexibility and versatility are essential as the team covers a wide array of responsibilities. The successful candidate will have experience in business analysis and a demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Create and run custom reporting from payroll systems
Troubleshoot issues with payroll interfaces
Assist with both QA and UAT testing for enhancements and bug fixes
Participate in projects of varying sizes and complexities
Build and maintain relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders
Works with third party vendors to resolve ticketing inquiries, research, updating database information
Bachelor's Degree
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with can do attitude and an ability to multi-task
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (applying advanced formulas like VLOOKUP, INDIRECT, INDEX MATCH, PivotTables, Recording macros, etc)
Detail-oriented, experience working with large data sets
Strong oral and written communication skills required to effectively resolve issues with Human Resources, 3rd party vendors and IT
Experience with Global View or SAP payroll platform
Programming or database experience helpful
