Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Payroll Clerk job opportunity located in Lake Zurich, IL 60047 zip code.
Shift: Mon – Fri 8am – 4:30pm (OT may be expected around 3-5 hours a week depending upon business need)
(3days onsite, 2 days remote)
Length : 3+ months (possible extension or temp – hire)
Pay Rate : $27.00/HR
Responsibilities: Performs a wide variety of record keeping and payroll processing activities.
Process wage and salary payments, audit time entries, and calculate and process special checks.
Process new hire paperwork and terminations.
Utilize automated time and attendance software and programs in day-to-day operations.
Provide time and attendance software support and resolve issues for HR and employees.
Perform daily and weekly audits associated with payroll operations.
Handle general inquiries regarding payroll and time/attendance.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required, associates or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field is preferred.
Must have payroll experience, background in Dayforce…..(Ceridian) is preferred.
Organized, strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel – great to have VLOOKUP, Formulas, sorting, filtering).
Ability to collaborate with team members and other departments.
Time management skills.
Background in finance/accounting, human resources, or related field.
