We are passionate about helping children reach their full potential and supporting families throughout their therapy journey.*Job Description:*We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a desire to grow their practice.*Responsibilities:** Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations* Provide direct therapy services to children with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders.* Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.* Educate and support families on strategies to enhance their child's communication skills.* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.* Participate in team meetings, training, and continuing education opportunities.*Required Qualifications:** Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.* Current DC licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, MD and VA a plus* Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.* Experience working with pediatric populations.* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.*Preferred Qualifications:** Experience in an outpatient or clinical setting.* Feeding, AAC, ASD, NLA/GLP, Apraxia are highly desired*Working Hours and Conditions:** Flexible working hours, with options for full-time and part-time positions.* Primarily outpatient setting with occasional opportunities for community outreach and education.*Compensation:** Initial contract is 1099 as caseload builds to full time (20-25 hours)* Expected to build to full within 3-4 months* After 12 months of full caseload, can move to W2 with benefits* Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.* Continuing education and professional development opportunities.* Supportive and collaborative work environment.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractPay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 – 25 per weekBenefits:* Continuing education credits* Flexible schedule* Opportunities for advancement* Professional development assistanceMedical Specialty:* PediatricsSchedule:* After school* Choose your own hours* Evening shift* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededAbility to Commute:* Washington, DC 20016 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Washington, DC 20016: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
