We are looking for a Genentech People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner to support the Roche Global Product Development (PD) organization. The Product Development (PD) mission is to improve patients' lives around the world with unique medicines that have meaningful impact. We conduct global clinical trials, analyze results, monitor safety, and work with regulatory authorities to provide truly differentiated medicines to patients. Our primary disease focus areas are Oncology, Immunology, Infectious Diseases & Ophthalmology (I2O), Neuroscience, and Cardiovascular. The Opportunity:You will partner flexibly across leadership areas in the Product Development (PD) organization, contributing to global, highly matrixed teams that span countries.You will collaborate closely with PD Business Partners, People & Culture(P&C) Chapter stakeholders, and relevant business leaders to understand long-term business needs and strategic P&C priorities, translating them into actionable P&C strategies.You will lead and drive change initiatives, people streams, Work Product Teams (WPTs), and squads, embedding and implementing overall P&C strategies within leadership areas.You will act as a trusted strategic partner and coach, advancing organizational design and effectiveness, driving transformation in mindset, behaviors, and ways of working.You will foster a diverse and inclusive work culture, securing future talent and capabilities, and ensuring high-quality solutions in talent management, workforce strategies, organization design, and reward and recognition.You will gather and analyze internal and external data, benchmarks, and business metrics to make critical decisions; share insights with leaders and recommend innovative solutions that support the strategic direction.You will diagnose root causes of work environment issues and team dynamics, initiating interventions and shaping solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders across multiple leadership areas.Who you areYou will bring extensive HR Experience with 12+ years of broad and progressive HR management or consulting experience, ideally within organizations recognized for best HR practices.You will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; equivalent work experience considered. Advanced degree preferred.You should have a passion for and proven track record in building a diverse and inclusive work culture.Proven ability to lead with a creative mindset, coach and mentor leaders, and influence stakeholders with courageous authenticity while challenging the status quo.Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries preferred, with strong communication skills to effectively address all organizational levels.Relocation benefits not eligible for this position. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is between $145,000 and $269,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
