Overview
Position Summary: Provide operations-critical support to ensure that dispatch and operational control functions are running in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible.
Evaluate technical, performance and operational data related to flight planning and aircraft operations.
Provide logistical support to Dispatch, Flight Operations and Marketing.
Responsibilities
Preflight planning and route analysis.
Evaluate and formulate route studies for airport suitability, payload capability, range, fuel consumption, and time comparisons based on historical data, airport conditions, aircraft characteristics, and available Perform airport analysis and pre-planning including a review of all airports involved in a proposed operation (departure, destination, alternate, & intermediate) to ensure airports are properly equipped with the necessary facilities, infrastructure and ancillary services to safely meet operational demand.
Focus is on operational risk analysis and subsequent risk mitigation Provide technical support and assistance to Dispatch and Flight Support safe and efficient aircraft operations though analysis and evaluation of aircraft performance capabilities and Administer and maintain aircraft performance systems and supporting databases, including Dispatch flight planning system, and takeoff and landing performance Conduct validation testing and troubleshooting of takeoff, enroute and landing aircraft performance data used in the flight planning Analyze flight performance data for trends and changes over time to identify possible degraded aircraft and adjust fuel flow factors in the computerized flight planning system and aircraft FMS Maintain and provide audit support of the airport suitability database, Jeppesen Airway manual, and the aircraft FMC navigation databases.
Perform routine Performance Engineering and operations support functions, including but not limited to: Maximum Payload and Block Time Analysis for Marketing.
Ad Hoc / Customer Scheduled Maximum Payload Requests.
Ad Hoc Block Time Requests.
New or Infrequent Station Review including 24 Hour NOTAM Check.
Review and resolve daily flight plan automation exceptions.
Airport Suitability Analysis completion.
Route Building for Dispatch as required.
Provide support and representation to external groups, including airport authorities, aircraft manufacturers, flight planning vendors and government regulators.
Research, develop and produce content for airport station guides and Company Jeppesen -10 Operation pages.
Assist in the development and integration of new technologies into operations.
Other Considerations: Must be flexible, willing to work nights, weekends and be on-call.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an aviation discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Dispatch license, Pilot license or Air Traffic Control (ATC) experience preferred.
Proficiency in computer flight preparation systems preferred.
(NavBlue, Jeppesen, Sabre, Leidos, Flightkeys) Worldwide geographic familiarity with respect to jet airways and international flight planning preferred.
Basic computer coding / programming skills preferred.
Skills: Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
High initiative, results oriented with strong sense of urgency.
Must be highly organized, focused and able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced multi-priority environment.
Demonstrate good communication, analytical, project/program management, problem-solving and customer service skills.
Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team Salary Range: $59,000 - $79,500
Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset."
