We are a local, family-owned independent insurance agency offering many benefits including a Group Health and 401K plan as well as company-paid benefits such as continuing insurance education, Group life insurance, and short-term/long-term disability.
This full-time position graduates to 100% commission over 3 years as the book of business is developed and is located in Tyrone, GA.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills A passion for sales and helping clients find the right coverage A self-starter who thrives on achieving goals Prior experience in insurance or sales is a plus, but we are ready to train the right candidate! JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective

Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals by generating leads through networking, prospecting, referrals, and account rounding.
Responsible for conducting needs assessments, providing insurance proposals, and recommending coverage options to clients.
Responsible for working in conjunction with Team Members to service current clients by maintaining ongoing relationships with those clients' ownership teams, through continued stewardship, risk assessment, and risk management.

Builds strong relationships with potential and existing clients to identify and meet their insurance needs Promotes teamwork by maintaining a positive and respectful attitude with colleagues. Collaborates with underwriters and other internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and timely policy issuance Demonstrates strong communication skills through effective verbal and/or written exchanges, active listening and respectful response. Maintains accurate records of customer interactions & sales activity through the Agency's CRM system. Maintains confidentiality of all information related to clients, employees, carriers, or as appropriate, other information. Strives to increase knowledge and/or enhance skills through continuing education by attending industry events, conferences, trade shows, etc as well as participating in regular sales training & other professional development activities. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and other devices.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hours may vary depending on the department and scope of work assigned.

Travel This position requires travel.
