Please see the full job description at https://phinneycenter.org/careers Position Overview: The PNA seeks a compassionate Phinney Center Programs Director to oversee programs and services based at the Phinney Center, which include rentals, arts and culture events, preschool co-ops, and DIY-focused initiatives like the Tool Library.
As a member of the organization's leadership team, the Director will be responsible for the overall direction of the center's programs, while helping shape organizational strategies, policies, and goals.
The Director will oversee a team of 10-12 mostly part-time staff and report to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the Phinney Center program staffOversee program vision, development, evaluation, and managementParticipate in the organization's leadership team to implement strategic goalsLead the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) CommitteeOversee budget preparation and monitoringBuild and maintain community partnershipsEnsure that center operations follow PNA and industry best practicesFoster a safe and welcoming environment for staff and the communityWork with the PNA Philanthropy Director on grants, events, and sponsorshipsRepresent PNA and its programs in the community Qualifications and Experience: Strong passion for PNA's mission and commitment to building equity and inclusionAt least 5 years of experience in nonprofit programming administration, including 3 in a leadership role3+ years of experience supervising staff and volunteersBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceCollaborative leadership skills, financial management experience, and ability to inspire teamsExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentComputer proficiency (Word, Excel), with knowledge of Salesforce a plusWillingness to work outside normal business hours on occasionAbility to pass a national criminal background check Compensation: Full-time exempt position (40 hrs/wk) with a salary range of $72,000 to $82,000, depending on experience.
