We're seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative to join our team.
As a PSR II, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accurate collection and processing of blood specimens.
Your commitment to patient well-being, combined with your strong phlebotomy skills and customer service experience, will be essential in contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, creating a welcoming and trustworthy atmosphere. Explain procedures clearly and effectively to patients. Accurately draw blood specimens in a safe and skillful manner. Specimen Processing: Prepare blood specimens for lab testing following established procedures. Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures. Maintain accurate documentation and records. Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations. Promote a positive and professional image of the organization. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills in a retail or service environment. Proficiency in keyboard/data entry. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Ability to travel to multiple locations and cover shifts with minimal notice. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting. Superior customer focus, excellent communication skills, adaptability to change, and knowledge of our business.
