BE PART OF THE CONNECTION? As a Photojournalist, you will shoot and edit stills and video content for web and broadcast on tight deadlines. You will work collaboratively with reporters, assignment desk editors, and production staff during the newsgathering process, as well as work independently. The role involves managing the upkeep of assigned company vehicle and equipment, and working with video newsgathering equipment such as lighting, lenses, and tripods . You'll make data-informed decisions about what's resonating to connect our audience with the stories that matter.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM NEWS? Required Qualifications Experience: Shooting and editing television news footage experience 5+ years, microwave truck experience Education: Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field or comparable television work experience preferred Technical skills: Ability to work with bonded cellular live streaming technology and Operate ENG/SNG/Satellite vehicles under company guidelines and within proper safety parameters Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly communicate solutions; and able to relate well with diverse populations and age groups Abilities: Ability to interface with internal company personnel , requires adaptability, enthusiasm, initiative and a positive approach to problem solving Travel Ability: Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community?
