Job OverviewThe Police Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining public safety and enforcing laws within the community. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to protecting life and property, preventing crime, and upholding the law with integrity and professionalism. Officers will engage with the community, respond to emergency calls, conduct investigations, and work collaboratively with other law enforcement agencies.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in law enforcement is preferred.Valid driver's license with a good driving record.Strong skills in report writing and documentation.Experience or training in criminal investigation techniques is a plus.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.Candidates must be prepared to undergo a thorough background check as part of the hiring process. The role of Police Officer requires a commitment to serving the community with respect, fairness, and dedication.
Special RequirementsAbility to Relocate: Charles City, IA 50616: Relocate within 30 miles of Charles City before starting work.
