Primary Care Physician Assistant

The Physician Assistant is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and treatment of care for patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
WE OFFER OUR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS: Great earning potential which includes a base salary plus a lucrative bonus plan (earn $120k - $200k/year)$15,000 sign-on bonus4 weeks of paid time offMedical, dental, and vision benefits from Day 1401k retirement savings planBENEFITS: Medical insurance with prescription drug coverageVision insuranceCompany-paid basic life insurance401(k) with company matchDependent Care Flexible Spending AccountPaid time offESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Outpatient medical consultation services under supervision of a physician in our medical office.Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating new and existing patient's medical conditions.Conducting follow-up patient care.Ordering and interpreting lab, radiology, and other diagnostic study results.Prescribing and referring patients for consultations when appropriate.Answering emergency telephone calls on a rotating schedule.Administer and order drugs for patients.Complete all notes/tasks in patient's EMR account indicating patient status and treatment procedures performed.Providing health education to patients and families.Supervising/coordinating the activities of patient care and support staff within the clinic.Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with a nurse protocol agreement.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Minimum 1-year clinical experience in Family Practice or Urgent Care requiredCurrent Physician Assistant licensure in GeorgiaCurrent Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration preferred
