Job Description:
Mobility Core and Network Services (MCANS) team is part of the Network CTO organization that oversees the global mobile and fixed network technology direction for AT&T, which includes the design of the company's 5G infrastructure.
This team is responsible for the architecture, design, certification and delivery of advanced Mobility Core network functions and Network Services applications, including for IP multimedia systems and packet data, which are the future of Mobility services and experiences.
The team contributes to the growth and development of end-to-end wireless network services across Consumer, Enterprise, Internet of Things (IOT), FirstNet and public sector products.
Qualifications:
As a full stack developer, participate in the full lifecycle of application, including design, coding, testing, implementation, deployment as well as support and maintenance.
Experience in designing and developing REST API using Java.
Proficiency in high-concurrency bulk data processing, real-time socket programming using Java, and working with big data tools such as Kafka, NoSQL databases, Snowflake, Oracle SQL, and Python/Perl/Shell scripting.
Experience in building web applications with web development best practices.
Understanding of various types of Machine Learning and capability to create AI algorithm prototypes based on project specifications.
Education Requirement:
PhD in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or Masters in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline e.g.
Computer Science, or Engineering.
Our Principal Member of Technical Staff earn between $193,100.00 - $289,700.00 USD Annually.
Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
