Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
Project Kuiper is looking for experienced, self-starter Business Development Professional to drive adoption of Kuiper broadband and additional services with Mobile Network Operators. This is an exciting opportunity to influence and implement the Project Kuiper Business Development strategy with Mobile Network Operators. This position is located in Redmond, WA but also open to candidates in Arlington, VA.
Key job responsibilitiesInfluence strategy for Project Kuiper with specific focus on Mobile Network OperatorsA curious self-starter with a proven track record of diving into unknown territory, learning new concepts, and pushing your comfort zone.An effective multi-tasker who navigates a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with grace and efficiency.Excellent at creating and maintaining working relationships across all levels and disciplines, receptive to feedback and input from others, and quick to apply changes.Work with internal subject matter experts to gather information, synthesize business and technical concepts, build strategic business metrics, and write original content that drives decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.Experience working in start-up mode building products and services from the ground up.Implement business development plan while working with key internal stakeholdersManage complex contract negotiations and complex business requirements and activities which deliver results.Adept at thinking strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.Action-oriented, detailed programmatic approach to implement complex programs and strategic initiatives with customersConsistently exceeds key performance metrics and Delivers ResultsExport Control Requirement:Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
