Process Industries Business Development Executive

As a key member of the Digital Industry Sales organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales strategies in key process industries. This includes identifying high-impact target verticals, crafting go-to-market strategies, and executing comprehensive digital thread campaign strategies to capitalize on strategic automation opportunities. You will serve as a trusted advisor to both Sales and the Business Unit, providing crucial forecasting insights, as well as guiding the planning, execution, and measurement of portfolio development activities.
You will take ownership of defining and executing an industry portfolio plan, working closely with Sales Management to ensure alignment on key verticals. As the go-to expert for Sales, Field Marketing, and Partner teams, you will provide valuable knowledge on campaign strategies and portfolio domain expertise across the full spectrum of Digital Threads. You will take full responsibility for reviewing and enhancing Digital Thread campaign materials, offering actionable feedback to content creators to ensure that use cases are compelling and aligned with business.
While you will manage your own assignments and pursuits with some oversight, you will also be expected to offer guidance and mentorship within your vertical or region, sharing best practices and portfolio development approaches to drive success across your domain.
We are looking for Process Industries Business Development Executive. This position will remote and can be based anywhere in the continental US.
You'll make an impact by:
Account Strategy & Opportunity Development:Define and execute account strategies for new and existing customers, targeting key accounts in specific solution domains and verticals. Align with Sales Management to confirm targets and sales channels, and lead customer meetings to present Siemens portfolio and digital thread campaigns.
Customer Engagement & Sales Support:Support Bill of Material generation, Proof of Concept, and project detailing. Provide pricing guidance and engage senior customer contacts, documenting next steps in SieSales. Nurture top leads and handover to sales for closure. Assist Sales Representatives in expansion discussions and present at industry events to drive digital thread adoption.
Business Planning & Forecasting:Identify gaps in the Go-to-Market strategy, support Portfolio Manager with market expertise, and provide forecasting and account planning input. Assist with piece count planning and ensure alignment of Digital Thread campaigns with strategy.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:Lead regular review sessions with PSEs and sales teams to provide status updates. Offer market-based pricing insights for BU planning and actively engage in sales meetings to track progress.
Enablement & Mentoring:Lead Region Interest Group to share portfolio knowledge across verticals. Drive Sales team adoption of Digital Thread campaigns through education and co-selling support. Mentor junior PSEs to develop their roles.
General Responsibilities:Uphold Siemens values, adhere to business processes, compliance, and safety standards, and perform any additional duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:
Required education: Bachelors Degree
Required travel: 10%-20%
Required: 10+ years of sales experience
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

The pay range for this position is$125,090 - $214,440and the annual incentive will be20%of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
