BH GUARD currently offers an excellent opportunity for a Product Development Manager over Small Commercial package to guide our next stage of growth at Berkshire Hathaway Guard Insurance Companies.
The position can be located in either New York, NY, Parsippany, NJ, Atlanta, GA, Philadelphia, PA and Wilkes Barre, PA
Product Development Specialist will collaborate closely with the product development leader, playing a pivotal role in documenting and versioning strategies.
This role requires a strong ability to contribute date-driven and experience -driven ideas, actively supporting the execution of strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Assists in the development, drafting, and enhancement of forms and forms language, including strategic input and actionable recommendations.
Support the design, development, and implementation of system and process solutions that align with the forms implementation strategy.
Collaborate with training and marketing to develop communication, training, and marketing materials in support of new or enhanced products and initiatives.
May require delivery of training materials or content.
Conduct competitor intelligence research.
Demonstrate awareness of each states regulatory environment and legislative rules to ensure that compliance standards are met.
Document, maintain, and version control forms attachment logic.
Collaborate with Strategic Business Analysis Unit for the purposes of ad-hoc analysis to support strategies and initiatives.
Creates, maintains and version controls templates, documentation and schedules for underwriting audit.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred with concentration in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics or Actuarial Sciences, (J.D.
preferred but not required) 3-5 years of Commercial Product or Underwriting experience.
Must have knowledge of industry trends, state regulations, and compliance processes.
Strong analytical and writing skills; attention to detail Must be comfortable and proficient working in a matrixed environment, with stakeholders at various levels and in various departments.
Salary Range $75,000.00-$110,000.00 USD
The successful candidate is expected to work in one of our offices 3-4 days per week and also be available for travel as required.
The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.
