Position Purpose: The Product Manager - Debit Cards is responsible for participating in the successful development, execution and analysis of debit card related strategies, initiatives, and planning.
This role will analyze industry trends, evaluate competitive positioning, and utilize data analytics to help create strategies to increase debit card issuance and usage.
*Although listed as Strasburg, this position may be based in a location within our footprint Essential Duties: Evaluate the product design in conjunction with management to implement new products and enhancements to existing products.
Develop product requirements and participate in developing project timelines and budgets.
Research and prepare analysis to be used to evaluate the effectiveness of new and existing products, programs, and projects, including ongoing product-related performance, updates, changes, and compliance requirements.
Provide modeling and financial data, including market sizing, economic analysis, statistical analysis, and competitive research to support various projects, product/service recommendations and strategic initiatives.
Development and execution of product related projects, campaigns, and initiatives.
Maintain an understanding of economic, regulatory, and competitive developments as they affect products/lines of business.
Effectively manage and maintain product-related vendor relationships.
Participate in the preparation and coordination of the annual loan product planning process.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the policy and state/federal regulations regarding debit cards to ensure proper information is included on promotional material and on new products.
Represent the Bank, as required, at trade events and informational activities.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related discipline, OR equivalent work or educational experience required.
Minimum of 3 years of product development, marketing, product/bank operations, analytics or loyalty experience preferred.
Project and/or product management experience preferred.
Communication:
The position requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
The individual will be required to communicate and present frequently with employees, customers, and vendors.
Supervisory Responsibility:
None
Working Conditions:
This position requires the individual to be available after normal working hours, periodically on weekends and holidays to provide support, complete projects and meet deadlines.
Business travel will be required to meet with vendors and attend education/training opportunities.
