The Risk and Compliance platform team at Stripe plays a dual role in shaping the future of financial infrastructure.
Our mission is twofold: to build a robust platform for Stripe to efficiently manage Risk - identifying and mitigating fraud at a global scale, and to ensure seamless Compliance - helping users navigate complex legal landscapes around the world.
We operate at the intersection of technology and finance, building systems that scale across multiple countries, each with its own regulatory environment.
Our team is pivotal in supporting Stripe's expansion, ensuring that risk management and compliance are integrated seamlessly into the user experience and our internal processes.
What you'll do Responsibilities Lead the strategic vision and execution of product initiatives in the Risk and Compliance domain, ensuring alignment with Stripe's broader goals and market needs Drive product development from conception to launch, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and legal Champion a user-centric approach in product design and development, balancing user needs with regulatory compliance and risk management Oversee and guide the product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives that align with business objectives and deliver maximum impact Act as a key decision-maker in defining product requirements and specifications, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and deliver tangible value to users Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team, encouraging experimentation and learning from both successes and setbacks Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, effectively communicating product vision and progress Who you are Minimum requirements 8+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven record in managing platform products at scale Experience managing technical software products from kick-off to ship Strong leadership skills with experience in managing large engineering teams Expertise in navigating complex environments and transforming challenges into scalable solutions Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing decisions and driving strategic initiatives Preferred qualifications Preferably has experience with B2B SaaS Preferably has experience with compliance and regulation in financial services Experience working on an infrastructure platform team
