Product Owner/Business Analyst
with a wide array of experience as this position will support a variety of initiatives. Join our team supporting the Department of the Interior.

Support a variety of business analysts tasks/initiatives such as develop, redesign, and/or reconstruct and improve business processes and procedures.
Participate in quality reviews and provide testing support for various applications, tools, learning and development materials and other initiatives, to ensure work complies with specified standards.
Creates, edits and/or reviews a wide variety of documentation; prepares communications, briefings, spreadsheets, white papers etc. in support of projects and programs.
Conducts research, analysis and performs program management support tasks.

Bachelor's degree required (Business Administration, Computer Science, IT, MIS, Organizational Development or other relevant degrees)
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in product owner, business support, analysis, business process redesign or change management efforts.
Experience with feature decomposition, story writing and story splitting.
Experience with user centered design techniques such as story mapping, journey mapping, empathy mapping, etc.
Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with federal customers and colleagues.
Strong analytical skills as well as excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
MS Office 365 tools knowledge, skills and abilities (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat Pro for creating, editing, converting, collating, organization, high functioning PDF, fillable, 508 compliant forms that contain conditional formatting tailored to each form.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence or Miro for facilitation, communication and refinement of work is desired.
Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as JIRA is desired.
Ability to present information thoroughly and logically.
Prior government contracting work experience is a plus.
Permanent Residency or US Citizenship is required for the government clearance (Public Trust).
