Job Title: Production Coordinator
Department: Operations
Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: Onsite, Hillsboro
Job Summary:
Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials between departments according to production schedule.
Collaborate with production staff to collect all relevant information needed to update production dashboards.
Daily duties include reviewing and distributing production and work schedules to work center leads, conferring with other departments to determine progress of work and identify production problems.
Job Responsibilities: Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple departments and product lines Monitor jobs to ensure completion aligns with the production schedule Address and resolve issues when they arise to keep delays at a minimum Update dashboards to ensure the most current and accurate information for consumers Generate and keep production paperwork and dashboards organized Skills Integral to the Job: A reputation for taking initiative, setting goals, and getting things done Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication abilities Confidence in decision-making Self-motivated, self-directed, and a team player Proven ability to adapt to changes Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma Knowledge and understanding of production in the manufacturing industry Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 2+ years of experience in manufacturing Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and its best practices Experience in data reporting and data visualization Physical Requirements: Able to climb up and down stairs, stand or sit for prolonged periods. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times
