Production Planner Ref: 310912 Type: Direct Hire Location: North Brunswick, NJ Job Level: Experienced Non-Manager Pay: Negotiable Opportunity DescriptionAs a Material Planner, you will plan production and ensure that we have the proper raw material and inputs to produce products to meet our customers' demands. You will manage an S&OP process and help us utilize the MRP module within our ERP system. This critical position will work with sales and marketing to create forecasts and minimum stocking levels. You will also work with manufacturing and procurement to make sure that all raw materials are on site to meet your production and shipment schedule. You will also be tasked with managing inventory to the targeted levels.

Experience & Skills RequiredThree years of experience in a Supply Chain FieldExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with peers, vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareExperience running or participating in an S&OP process.Knowledge of MRP functionality with an ERP system. Experience with E21 ERP a plus.Able to work Overtime on occasion.Must be available to travel to Vendor Sites/US facilitiesManufacturing setting with various chemicals on siteAble to communicate and comprehend received communicationMust be able to travel via plane, train, or automobile domestically
