Production Planner Description: The Production (and Inventory) Planner will organize production activities at the Smyrna, GA facility according to demand and quality standards.
This position is responsible for planning and scheduling the production of product lines to ensure that appropriate stock is maintained at the Smyrna location to meet the demands of customer orders.


Responsibilities: Manage the production planning of all demand and incoming orders.
This involves working with various departments to ensure components made in-house will be available at the proper time.
Facilitate revising manufacturing schedules and priorities due to internal and external customer requirements and operational and feedstock constraints.
Review and monitor the current inventory levels of products and feedstocks at the site in close collaboration with the Business Operations Planner.
Determine raw materials needed to cover production demand and liaise with Procurement and Supply Planning to ensure timely replenishment.
Communicate daily with the Customer Service team regarding material availability and order fulfillment.
Collaborates with quality control, logistics, and operations to drive customer service levels.
Actively participates in Regional S&OP meetings with Business Operations Teams.
Collaborates with the Business Operation Planner and Supply Planning team on high-level rough-cut capacity planning for the facility.
Follow established company SOP and ISO 9001 Guidelines.
Reporting: Reports to Plant Manager, Smyrna Strong working relationship with Business Operations Planner for the America's region, based in Smyrna Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment, preferably process industry or similar experience Preferred Qualifications: Associate or bachelor's degree in one of the biological, physical sciences or related fields Experience working with an ERP system, SAP preferred Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) Experience with Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail Communication skills are a must
