Job Description Production Planner/Master Scheduler III Position Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating material sourcing initiatives enabling business continuity for TEL Manufacturing and Engineering of America (TMEA).
Responsibilities Ensure project management application clearly communicates tasks and timeline for business continuity improvement projects Perform data analysis and populate forms to ensure cross-functional teams understand scope of work and timeline to achieve goals.
Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of materials through qualification and into production.
Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.
Understanding master schedules and ensuing material requirements to support manufacturing.
Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
Partner with project managers to achieve goals within time and budget.
Distill requests and execute tasks within a matrix organization.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in manufacturing planning, Manufacturing Operations or equivalent major 4+ years of related professional experience Candidate must be able to work full-time and meet attendance standards Preferred Qualifications: SAP experience preferred Familiarity with manufacturing, preferably capital equipment manufacturing Knowledge and experience with Bill of Materials, Procurement, and Sourcing Engineering preferred Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with business teams Ability to prioritize responsibly, facilitate, lead and motivate team members, prepare, expedite and complete multiple projects simultaneously Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate and work effectively within all organizational levels Strong written and verbal communication skills including a demonstrated ability to clearly provide written reports that identify and quantify risk as well as present sound solutions Proficiency in Microsoft Suite software Physical Requirements

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
This is a largely sedentary role.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds.
This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
