We are seeking a qualified and experienced Planner to join our Production & Raw material planning team at the Ellwood City Plant. As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely production of orders and the procurement of raw materials to meet customer delivery schedules and maintain safety stock levels. Your focus will be on promoting teamwork, integrity, and upholding our core values of reliability, trust.
Responsibilities:
Planning production orders and raw materials to support on-time delivery to customers and maintain safety stock levels.
Participating in daily planning meetings and assigning priorities to production planning tasks.
Reviewing open order reports and ensuring production plan supports on time delivery to customers.
Updating production schedule based on vessels and production status and liaising with the Production team on the status of Process Orders.
Working cross-functionally with production, logistics, quality and maintenance to ensure issues are addressed to support schedule adherence.
Review and approve invoices for raw material orders
Drive continuous improvement ideas across functions
Complete ownership of inventory levels in assigned MRP
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, other relevant field, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience in production planning and/or raw material planning, preferably in a chemical manufacturing or similar industry.
Proficiency in ERP systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong analytical, data analysis, and critical thinking skills
Proven track record of creatively solving difficult problems

SAP Experience
Strong proficiency in Excel
APICS Certification
