Vishay Tansitor is currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor responsible for overseeing a team of manufacturing employees during first shift operations. We're looking for a highly motivated and results driven leader to support our production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Job Location: Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington, VT and is the world's number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts. What you will be doing: Directly supervises production process and personnel Performs administrative responsibilities for production personnel including timekeeping, progress review, and corrective counseling Monitors, evaluates, and interprets date to ensure process integrity and specification compliance Controls and monitors operation of production equipment Compiles and enters production data records Trains and develops production staff regarding policies, procedures, and related responsibilities Provides accurate and specific data and input to production support departments and personnel Meets with scheduling, engineering, and other support departments as needed What you will bring along: Minimum 5-years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or related production area with a strong technical background in related production equipment operations B.S.
