Your Role Provider Partnerships manages the holistic relationship of the Blue Shield of California contracted risk-baring medical groups and IPAs in the state of California, tracking and managing performance and strategy execution.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Provider Partnerships, the Program Coordinator, Experienced role is responsible for the processes that support strategy, which includes the program functions of the team for its assigned region with a special focus on optimized efficiency.
This role is multifaceted requiring a diverse set of organizational skills, including basic project management and administrative capabilities.
The Program Coordinator, Experienced role will work closely with internal and external contacts and must have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Your Work In this role, you will:
Assist the assigned team with meeting program goals that include but are not limited to relationship management, and efficient tracking of performance and materials to support such performance Work with cross-functional teams and upper management to ensure that key project deliverables are managed, and deadlines are met Manage and maintain a program calendar that keeps deliverable dates front and center, ensuring needed pre-work and meetings are scheduled Provide necessary support for meeting efficiency to include minutes, food and beverages, technology, and location Support data reporting requirements across multiple departments, as it pertains to Provider Partnerships, to ensure timely delivery to Providers Contribute to process improvement across functions and within departments.
Develop gap analyses and present solutions to internal team.
Manage documentation of new processes and operating procedures Oversee assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment and critical thinking are required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations Support the Sr. Director in meeting planning and program management Exercise independent judgment and initiative in resolving non-recurring problems, receiving no instruction on routine work and general instructions on new assignments Successfully manage time-sensitive projects and deliverables and provide status updates as requested Manage the onboarding process for new regional team members which includes but is not limited to management of the onboarding list of tasks, working with internal stakeholders to ensure training, gathering all training materials and scheduling training meetings Your Knowledge and Experience Requires a college degree or equivalent experience Requires 3 years of prior relevant experience Program Coordinator experience is preferred Project management experience of at least 2 years is preferred, with at least 1 year experience in health plan or healthcare setting being preferred Proficiency in computer and software programs (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) is preferred.
Advanced ability to use Excel and be proficient in creating pivot tables, using advanced formulas and functions such as performing a VLOOKUP is preferred.
Experience in the production of executive level PowerPoint presentations and reports including data collation and display is preferred Experience with creating and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint sites (i.e.
Managing user access and permissions, document sharing, site design and development) is preferred Demonstrated use of critical and independent thinking, a sense of urgency, initiative, responsiveness, and a proactive approach to work, including ability to successfully manage time-sensitive projects and deliverables and provide status updates as requested Ability to articulate effective communication style (written and verbal), with advanced grammar comprehension, and proven ability to positively influence behavior toward a positive outcome Ability to research, synthesize, and collate information from various sources, create reports, graphs, and presentations using spreadsheets, databases, and graphic software with high attention to detail and accuracy Pay Range: The pay range for this role is: $71,280.00 to $99,770.00 for California.
