Program Supervisor Job Summary: Oversees the operations of the programs ensuring the needs of the people supported are met. Program Supervisors will hire, train, and supervise direct care staff to ensure quality delivery of services, as well as ensuring all programming needs are met including scheduling and staff development.

Qualifications & Skills: Required: Two years' experience in the Human Services field Experience working with the protection and advocacy of vulnerable populations Passion for and dedication to ABLE Inc. mission Experience supervising, training, evaluating, and supporting staff Ability to analyze behavior and implement active treatment programs Proficient use of Microsoft Office and related programs Excellent analytical and organizational skills Complete integrity, honesty, and confidentiality Preferred: Two-year degree in Human Services field Role Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Identifies with, shares in, and aligns programs to the vision, mission, core values, and core virtues of ABLE, Inc. Creates a coaching culture, ensuring each team member receives consistent feedback on their performance. Facilitates a team environment including the key elements of trust, communication, and empathy. Supervises and evaluates the work performance of Direct Support Professionals Ensures employee performance standards are met and initiates progressive discipline as necessary, consulting with HR when appropriate. Oversees the scheduling function of the organization. Evaluates staffing patterns and adjusts to ensure the needs of the people supported are met. Organizes, multitasks, and prioritizes duties and responsibilities in an efficient manner. Creates, reviews, and ensures the implementation of programs and activities. Collaborates with HR to promote staff recruitment, selection, hiring, retention, and training. Conducts needs assessments and identifies training needs and skill gaps. Educates team members on proper documentation, including timeliness, and facilitates additional training when needed. Demonstrates consistent use of behavior intervention and management techniques in a manner that is respectful and as least intrusive as possible. Ensures the safety of all individuals and team members. Attends and participates in house meetings. Works a minimum of 20% of time directly with people supported. Fills open shifts as needed. Participates in on-call rotation and responds to individual and program emergencies as needed. Other duties as assigned. Continuing Education & Community Involvement: Maintains current certification in Positive Behavior Support (PBS), Trained Medication Administration (TMA) Attends conferences/workshops as needed to further the organizations' abilities in impactful and new ways Personal Characteristics: Ability to interact with varied constituencies in a collegial and professional manner. Manages change with self-confidence along with a willingness to take calculated risks. Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation skills). A demonstrated multi-cultural competence – the awareness, knowledge, and skills needed to work with others who are culturally different from self in meaningful, relevant, and productive ways. Self-driven; willing to "roll up their sleeves"; assertive but "balanced". A strong, positive communicator who has a listening presence, speaks effectively and is a visible leader. While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to sit; walk throughout the building and talk and hear. Ability to walk two or three flights of stairs. The individual frequently is required to stand; and use hand to finger, handle or feel. The individual is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The individual must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and may need to assist in lifting a resident/individual in the case of an emergency. Specific correctable vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision. Depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment. Generally, a busy office area subject to frequent interruptions. The noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
