It's Work That Matters. Overview Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The research section of the Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute (CBDI) is responsible for advancing cutting-edge research initiatives, particularly in cancer and blood diseases, by providing operational, administrative, and strategic support.
The team is instrumental in facilitating clinical and translational research, managing compliance and regulatory processes, and ensuring that investigators have the resources they need to succeed.
The Project Associate role will play a key part in supporting the Research section head's efforts to drive innovation and foster collaboration across service lines and with external stakeholders.
The Project Associate manages specific aspects of projects from development through implementation, and will play a crucial role in assisting the Research Section in ensuring the completion of larger projects.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 4+ years of experience in leading development projects; experience leading multiple projects at one time and comfortable with a fast-paced collaborative work environment; very strong organizational skills, verbal, and written communication skills, plus excellent calendar managing skills.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote) is highly preferred.
Administrative experience is highly preferred.
Providing seamless administrative support to the research section head, including managing a dynamic schedule and coordinating complex projects.Streamlining communication and coordination across diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced research environment.Assisting with project planning and execution for several high-priority research initiatives, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.Adapting to shifting priorities as the research landscape evolves, particularly as new opportunities arise in cancer and blood disease research.Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor's Degree required or High School with 8+ years of relevant experience; Project Management Certificate preferred.
Pay Scale Information $61,360.00-$110,573.00

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.
The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
