Project Compliance Specialist

Position Description:

The Project Compliance Specialist reports directly to the Assistant Controller and is responsible for ensuring the organization remains compliant with both governmental and project level payroll/demographic reporting requirements.
In addition, the compliance specialist is responsible for ensuring that Bond Civil & Utility and all subcontractors remain compliant with both internal, and project level insurance requirements.


Responsibilities: Manage certified payroll process for required projects Collect and review subcontractor certified payroll records Monitor union and prevailing wage rates on a per project basis Manage prevailing wage setups and monitor weekly compliance with payroll Manage vendor and subcontractor compliance with insurance tracking, EEO and DBE reporting Ensure projects are set up in accordance with the contract requirements Assist project teams with ad hoc requests relative to compliance Perform various project related analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting Assist other departments with ad hoc requests Support job audits Work on special projects as directed by management Qualifications: Exceptional time-management skills to ensure deadlines are met while providing accurate deliverables Be able to proactively influence and establish positive working relationships with clients, unions, subcontractors, and BOND employees Must be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to effectively multi-task in a fast paced environment Must display initiative and independent thinking Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required Experience with COINS or Heavy Job software a plus Construction industry and/or payroll experience preferred
