Project Controls Analyst

The Project Controls Analyst will be on the Capital PMO Team and support the cost control and scheduling efforts for facilities/construction projects in West Texas (5-10 projects on average at a given time).
The Project Controls Analyst will work independently and perform all project controls required throughout the entire project life cycle.
Daily responsibilities include:

Creation of Project and Program cost reports, capturing the portfolio for supported Project Managers

Reviewing monthly exceptions and errors in the SAP, Prism, or EPM integration process

Create and manage budgets to monitor spending and develop consolidated baseline schedules which support the project execution team

Track incurred and forecasted cost vs authorized funding and identify needed supplements, as necessary

Create, maintain, and distribute routine bi-weekly and monthly reports associated with all assigned construction project expenses

SAP or Ares Prism experience

Knowledge of production, compression, pumping, treating, processing, and produced water disposal facilities and pipeline infrastructure

Bachelors Degree

EPC or Midstream industry experience
5-10 years of experience supporting cost control and scheduling efforts throughout all phases of the project lifecycle

Experience with both cost and scheduling functions in oil and gas, or applicable construction capital projects

Primavera P6 experience

Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining effective cost control and scheduling programs

Experience working with accrual calculations and building forecasts for projects

Experience managing multiple projects at once
