LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a multidisciplinary electrical firm to hire an experienced Project Manager (Administrator) with experience in the Construction field to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to manage high-performance electrical projects in a collaborative environment.
Position: Construction Project Manager
Location: 100% onsite in Portland, OR 97209
Duration: Temp to hire preferred; open to direct hire
Dress Code: Business casual
Timeline: ASAP
Compensation: $28-$30 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities: Oversee project managers with billing, job cost tracking, and administrative tasks. Process billing, including invoices and certified payroll reports. Maintain detailed project records and manage P.O.s and contract modifications. Address customer service inquiries from internal and external clients. Ensure proper management and maintenance of testing equipment. Provide general administrative support as needed. Qualifications: HS Diploma/GED required; some college preferred. 3-5 years of construction-specific experience in billing or project management support. Strong understanding of accounting and billing practices relevant to the construction industry. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with Accubid and Starbuilder is a plus. Excellent customer service skills and effective communication abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently or as part of a team. Working Conditions: Office-based with typical business hours; overtime may be required as deadlines approach. Physical demands include occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and various movements like sitting and climbing. Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
