Project Manager Bear IC is looking for a skilled, experienced, and flexible Project Manager to join our crew. In this role your overall responsibility will include all aspects of one or more construction projects for the duration of projects assigned; leading the project team with upper management and representing Bear IC to the client.

A "typical" day looks like: Administering and monitoring compliance with construction contracts with Owners, subcontractors, and vendors; providing timely written notices in accordance with project manual and contract requirements Preparing, reviewing, and updating project schedules per project requirements Initiating and awarding subcontracts to subcontractors and purchase orders to vendors and manage change orders as necessary Developing site specific safety plans with project team, with assistance from company safety personnel Developing and revising project budgets, as necessary Preparing, monitoring, and presenting Job Cost reports (i.e., budgets, GC expenditures, budget revisions, change orders and gross profit projections) to Management and Company Controller on a monthly basis Acting as liaison with Owner/Architect for projects assigned Managing construction documentation, including but not limited to, applying for building permits, surveys, testing, and inspections, in conjunction with project superintendent Coordinating and expediting materials and services for the job site, in conjunction with superintendent Analyzing actual costs to estimate and document variances Preparing and updating cash flow projections and if required use a cost-loaded schedule Overseeing, managing, and/or completing change management processes Understanding, reviewing, and coordinating structural, architectural, and MEP drawings throughout project Managing the job closeout process including contracts with owner, subcontractors, and vendors, and obtain all necessary warranties and releases Do you have what it takes? Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering; 7+ years' experience in progressively responsible roles in construction management or equivalent combination of education and experience Proficiency in Microsoft Suite required; Microsoft Projects, Bluebeam, Procore, Building Connected experience preferred Ability to deal with situations involving sensitive and confidential company issues Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels, both internally and externally Knowledge of budgeting and expense control Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities Able to write reports, and business correspondence Able to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines Knowledge of all different construction delivery systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Why Bear IC?
