Project Manager (Construction)

Sr. Project Manager Direct Hire / Permanent Position Chicago, IL - Hybrid 2-3 days/week Salary: $125,000-$155,000/Year Bonus: 10% National Travel: 30%-45% Overview: As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage the construction of state-of-the-art distribution centers across the USA. Projects range from $250-$400 million USD and have a lead time of 24 months. Job Responsibilities: Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of complex warehouse development projects. Manage construction and commissioning processes from a design perspective, ensuring efficient and effective project completion. Evaluate and optimize changes that significantly impact project scope, budget, or schedule. Monitor engineering processes to maintain adherence to quality standards, Total Cost of Ownership, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated issues and provide input on project outcomes. Offer life-cycle engineering support to existing warehouse facilities. Foster knowledge-sharing and leverage expertise to achieve departmental goals. Contribute to business development initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of project experience in logistics real estate. Proven ability to coordinate with internal and external engineering teams. Based in the Chicago metropolitan area with the ability to work from the Chicago office.
