Job Summary: Project Management plans, directs, coordinates, supervises all projects assigned within the project management team.
Understand project drivers, requirements, scenarios, and options and use management skills to ensure projects are completed in accordance with customer and internal manufacturing timelines.
Project Managers are the primary point of contact for customers in association with assigned projects.
The scope of the role and responsibilities will include but are not limited to managing: Completion of all projects in the most cost-effective manner, within the required schedule dates, and within budget, while striving for enthusiastically satisfied customers.
Understanding of Contracts and bid documentation Scope of work and associated costing Project specifications Billing and invoicing/draw requirements and timing Conduct hand-off meetings within project management and/or sales to fully understand Livers Bronze scope and responsibilities.
Ensure the project managers understand project schedules and sequences and create a critical path/schedule including the following by phase within the timeframe required by the contract: Submittal drawings Samples Mockups Submittal drawing revisions costing of associated revisions Purchasing coordination of raw materials and buyouts (glass, special graphics, etc) confirming costs and issuing material escalation CCRs as needed.
Site measurement/field survey Understanding of all issued revisions (ASI, RFI, Delta, etc...) Production release dates Shipping coordination Installation scheduling and supplying necessary documentation and hand-off meeting as required.
Oversee and ensure that regular and frequent communication with customers outlining milestones necessary to meet schedule requirements is occurring.
In doing so, continuously confirm schedule dates and request schedule updates as necessary.
Champion timely internal communication in doing so being prompt to answer requests by other departments.
Ensure the creation or participate in the creation of a billing schedule of values (SOV).
Understand billing and timing as associated with all assigned projects.
Keep project status updated within the company reporting structure and active participation in weekly meetings keeping all participants informed of current project status while updating team members of revisions and schedule changes.
