PositionOverview:

Siemens Mobility is seeking a qualifiedOverhaul Project Manager to work in our Wilmington, DE location.
The individualselected for this position will lead Rolling Stock (Locomotives) OverhaulPrograms and be responsible for providing and leading overhaul processes.
Youwill be responsible for overseeing the locomotive overhaul program, ensuringall identified overhaul and maintenance tasks are completed within the requiredtimescales.


What yourday-to-day will look like: Lead a comprehensive locomotive overhaul programfor multiple fleets in line with the Rolling Stock maintenance regime toachieve service and budgetary targets.
Create and deliver agreed-upon specifieddocumentation to support the Rolling Stock overhaul.
Ensure that all required maintenance facilitiescan carry out the work to ensure the overhaul plan is completed and withinschedule.
Work closely with the customer to ensure thatthe overhaul schedule is understood, and materials are on hand as needed percontract.
Work closely with the material logistics groupto ensure the material is available at the right time.
Work closely with internal departments (TSSSAteam and Engineering), keeping them informed or seeking input as the situationdemands.
Track work in progress, financial execution, andwork with partners to mitigate schedule risks.
Critically review the overhaul plans for thefleet, monitor and seek optimization opportunities for validation byengineering and relevant customer counterparts.
Develop relationships and processes withcustomers and materials logistics to ensure the performance and supply of thematerials meet the requirements of the maintenance and overhaul operation.
Ensure vehicle configuration management isaccurately maintained during overhaul.
Work with Quality Department to deliver the"Overhaul Quality Plan" to collaborators during the overhaul.
To thrive inthis role, you have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
In lieu of Bachelor's degree, 5 years ofrelevant experience in a similar role may be substituted.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Rolling Stock(Rail) maintenance or engineering position.
The ability to demonstrate an in-depth knowledgeof Rolling Stock maintenance techniques, processes, and procedures alsoinvolving IT, planning systems, and maintenance management.
Previous experience in dealing with suppliersand commercially sensitive issues, preferably within the engineering/railsector.
Experience using project planning software.
Experience in negotiating or assistingnegotiations on significant contracts.
Knowledge and experience of Lean Management.
Strongly demonstrated presentation skills, both verbaland written.
Ability to prepare and conduct presentations andmeetings at all levels of organizations, both internally and externally.
Well demonstrated customer service skills, aconcern for quality, strong leadership skills, and forward-thinking.

Theactual salary/wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget andcandidate experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
