We're seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join our team as Event Marketing Representatives. In this role, you'll be the face of our media company, representing our stations at various community events, appearances, and promotions.
Position Purpose:
As an Event Marketing Representative, you'll provide support to our station promotions departments by executing remote events, appearances, special projects, marketing campaigns, and more. Due to the nature of the job, your hours and shifts will vary from week to week based on scheduled events.
Key Responsibilities:.
- Execute station events and remotes in the community
- Drive company vehicles to event locations
- Prepare signage, promotional materials, and giveaways for events
- Assist with logistics, setup, and teardown for remote and station events
- Interact with listeners, clients, hosts, and on-air talent in a positive and professional manner
- Maintain vehicles, banners, and all associated promotional assets
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of our brands and implement it at station events and when interacting with listeners
- Assist with daily operations of station websites and social media pages, including creating innovative ideas to generate online traffic
- Conduct contests and fulfill prizes according to station policies and rules at events
- Provide administrative support at the front desk when needed
- Perform other marketing/promotional duties as assigned by the manager and Program Director
Required Skills & Experience:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Self-motivated, able to work well under pressure, and take responsibility for work while performing under moderate supervision
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable
- Willing to work in various environments, including outdoors in any condition, at festivals, local businesses, etc.
- Experience in public relations or marketing (preferred)
Physical Demands:
- Ability to receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively
- Substantial physical movements of the wrists, hands, and fingers
- Ability to extend hands and arms in any direction with good eye-hand coordination
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds consistently
- Ability to set up a 10x10 tent independently

Compensation: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour (Job entry rate is $20/hr.)
