The psychiatrist is responsible for providing psychiatric assessment and treatment for patients (defined by licensing and regulatory standards), at clinical sites at which the psychiatrist is assigned.
The psychiatrist is expected to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, treating patients with eating disorders and related or comorbid psychiatric conditions.
The psychiatrist will serve patients in a gender-inclusive environment of all ages and across multiple levels of care.
Further, the psychiatrist shall serve as a resource to the medical and behavioral treatment teams around best-practice psychiatric care.
Compensation: Psychiatrist: $232,870.00 - $372,570.00 annually (based on 1.0 FTE)
Final compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for position. Schedule: Full Time 0.8 FTE (32hrs per week), working 4 days per week Monday - Friday.Position is an onsite role based out of Seattle.Exact shift schedule and days will be set in collaboration with Regional Medical Director, Site Director, and based on site needs.How Psychiatrist's Empower Recovery: Provide direct psychiatric services through the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients, including appropriate exam, work-up and the prescription of medications and other interventions as indicated.Evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric complications of eating disorders, as well as intercurrent conditions, for patients at the different levels of care offered at the facility.Develop the psychiatric treatment plans of all assigned patients and update with each visit.Provide regular supervision to ancillary psychiatric providers.Liaise by telephone with each patient's ambulatory provider, at a minimum, at admission, discharge and as needed during treatment in the context of significant concerns.Liaise with families of patients as indicated.Evaluate by telephone or in person all inpatient and residential patients on caseload within two weeks of discharge, to assess stability for next level of care, and to complete follow-up recommendations and a comprehensive discharge summary.Work with the Utilization Review team to provide psychiatric information to support the facilitation of peer-to-peer insurance reviews, determination of appropriate levels of care, arbitration of clinical appeals, etc.Participate in staff conferences and education, and serve on clinical committees as assigned.Participate in program development with site/regional psychiatric leadership as interested and assigned.Maintain license and uphold all board certification requirements.Perform all assigned supervision requirements as needed if on-site collaborating physician.Complete all documentation in a timely manner.Participate in call schedule.Perform other duties as assigned or identified.Qualifications: Licensed as an MD or DO.BC/BE in Psychiatry.Possession of a current medical license in the state where the physician will practice.Completion of an accredited residency program in Psychiatry.What We Offer: (Benefits offered with Full Time opportunities) Medical - Blue Cross Blue Shield.

PTO is accrued throughout the year and can be used for vacation, personal and sick time and accrues based on compensated hours.
