Public Safety Captain - Site Supervisor, Armed Summerville Campus Full Time, Day Shift 7am to 7pm / Every Other Weekend JOB PURPOSE:
Supervises assigned personnel and coordinates the activity of assigned personnel in order to provide effective Public Safety services to PHC. Enforces all PHC regulations, and applicable state and federal laws. Supports all security functions to maintain a safe and secure environment. Responsible for the safe de-escalation of critical events and the use of sound judgment in the engagement with combative or escalating subjects. Advocates crime prevention and a secure work environment through observation, interaction, and intervention. May perform other duties as required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five (5) years general security, military or other public safety experience with one (1) year of experience in supervision/leadership roles required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None
