About the Role As we continue to grow our organization, we are looking to add an Account Coordinator to our team! The Account Coordinator should be detail oriented and able to coordinate and participate in numerous projects in an organized manner. This role will require three days per week in the office and is best suited for someone who has an exceptional work ethic and is motivated to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative and creative environment. Responsibilities: Pitch media by email or phone to national, regional and trade journalists, across print, broadcast and online platforms Research and draft news releases, pitches, fact sheets, media advisories, and social media content. Research target media lists using Cision and other resources such as Google News and Social Media Platforms Collaboratively generate new ideas to reach targeted media outlets Manage social media, including implementation of social media campaigns for multiple clients on platforms including X, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook Research speaking opportunities and editorial calendars for client opportunities Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 1-2 year of PR agency or journalism experience, or relevant internship experience Bachelors in PR, communications, journalism or related field Outstanding written and verbal communication with an interest in public policy, real estate and economic development Track record of securing media coverage and experience developing relationships with reporters Social media experience, with successful campaigns implemented using X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc. Core Competencies Drives Results- Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances Collaborates- Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives Communicates Effectively- Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understand of the unique needs of different audiences If applicants wish to send a cover letter, they may do so via email to ******
