Purchasing Assistant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Assistant to manage procurement tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and managing vendors. The ideal candidate should have excellent negotiation skills, ability to analyze market trends, and good communication skills. Responsibilities: Assist the Purchasing Manager in sourcing products and managing supplier relationships. Conduct market research to identify pricing trends. Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices. Prepare cost analyses for new contracts and established deals. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage. Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends. Perform regular inventory inspections. Record order details in the database system. Oversee delivery of purchased items and resolve any issues. Coordinate with other departments to ensure all products arrive in good condition.
