QA Engineer (Remote) GoodParty.org is looking for a QA Engineer with 3+ years of work experience who has strong skills in both manual and automated testing and the ability to pay attention to the smallest details. You'll be the last line of product testing for our remote startup as we scale our impact.

Voters are trapped between choosing the lesser of two evils or sitting out elections altogether.A majority of eligible voters (over 130M Americans), including more than half of Millennials and Gen Z, say that neither Republicans, nor Democrats represent them. But they keep getting re-elected! Whether you're concerned about the environment, healthcare costs, wars, inequality, or our individual freedoms, many great solutions are held back by the dark doom-loop of dysfunctional partisan politics.
While mainstream media and the two major parties focus on federal elections (e.g. Congress and President), GoodParty.org is building from the bottom up. With over 500,000 elected offices in the United States, 70% of which are uncontested, we are powering a grassroots revolution to take back our communities from career politicians by helping real people run and win local and state level campaigns all across the country.
How? GoodParty.org's solution is to make it simple to run, win and serve. We offer free AI powered tools to help real people run and win elections, independent of partisan support or big money. We train people to run for office and support candidates who take our pledge so they don't have to sell out to the Democrats or Republicans, raise big money, or cow-tow to special interests. Our free AI Campaign Manager and team with 50+ years of campaign experience make running, winning and serving as an independent, people-powered anti-corruption candidate possible.

What you'll do: Test our products to ensure they function seamlessly across desktop and mobile web and will empower candidates, volunteers, and creators to take effective action.
Use manual and automated testing to ensure we deliver high-quality working software for candidates on our web-based platform.
Embrace AI and best practices in testing with AI for our product to help candidates get elected, as well as opportunistic projects to spread our message and movement.
Test outputs of our AI Campaign Manager and AI agent that supports candidates run and win their elections.
Collaborate with our lean, agile team using CI/CD and Kanban methodologies.
Work directly with product, design, and engineering on your projects.
Report to the Chief Technology Officer working on the Engineering Team
Who you are: You're up for the audacious challenge of re-coding our democracy for Good. You've got experience studying, working, or volunteering in politics, civics, or democracy reform.
You have strong manual and automated testing skills, experience with Playwright, and an excellent ability to ensure we release accurate, responsive designs.
You're a proven A-player with 3+ years of relevant full-time work experience, ideally within a fast-paced 0 to 1 environment. We care more about talent and trajectory than years of experience.
You have experience writing test automation with PlayWright or Cypress
You're actively interested in using AI, LLMs, and automation of tasks through AI and have done previous work or personal projects in this area.
You have advanced technical and analytical skills to diagnose, isolate, and resolve problems.
You're able to work independently and collaborate with others when needed to iteratively solve problems in real-time. Our solution is desperately needed and the issues of our time are bottlenecked by our corrupted democracy.
Bonus if: You have experience with JavaScript.

The salary range is $80,000 to $105,000 for this remote, full-time position with excellent benefits. This range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, seniority, education, qualifications, certifications, and organizational needs. We reserve the right to modify this pay range at any time. Title will also be commensurate with experience.
