Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with automation and POS experience, to oversee and drive the quality assurance efforts for our projects and products. The QA Lead will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met while managing a team of QA professionals. This role is crucial for delivering seamless user experiences and maintaining our reputation for excellence. The position is based in our client's Miami, FL office, with a requirement of being onsite 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities: Test Planning: Create detailed and comprehensive test plans, including schedules and stakeholder updates. Develop testing strategies to ensure the quality of products and services aligns with project goals. Test Execution: Oversee and lead all testing activities, including manual and automated testing. Conduct tests, document results, and work with developers to resolve bugs efficiently. Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and coaching to QA team members. Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment. Communication: Collaborate with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to address issues, changes, and enhancements. Clearly communicate problems and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences. Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive test documentation library. Accurately document software and application defects for future reference. Analysis: Analyze system requirements, test cases, and test results to identify gaps or areas for improvement. Provide actionable insights to enhance overall product quality. Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to align on quality goals and deliverables. Ensure seamless integration of QA processes within the development lifecycle. Team Management: Oversee daily operations and staffing levels within the QA team. Balance workload effectively to meet deadlines and project requirements. Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in testing processes. Implement innovative solutions to improve testing speed and accuracy. Nice-to-Have Skills and Tools: Github, Circle ci, Jira, Lambda test, Testrigor, Amplitude, Datadog. Conduct tests, document results, and work with developers to resolve bugs efficiently.Experience in test mobile (iOS/ Android) and desktop.Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a QA Lead or similar role. Proven experience with Automation and POS. Comprehensive understanding of the software testing life cycle. Expertise in agile methodologies and DevOps frameworks. Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in test management tools and automated testing frameworks. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
