General Description
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the monitoring and compliance of the HS/PRS program.
The Quality Assurance Specialist will assist in developing policy and procedures, conduct desk monitoring/site visits, and facilitate quality assurance training for employees.

Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree Experience: Two years of quality assurance and compliance related experience Knowledge of family preservation, kinship care, trauma informed care, child welfare policies and procedures, and relevant state and federal laws and regulations.
Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal/written).
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to successfully interact with caseworkers, and other stakeholders.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
A valid driver's license, available to travel for meetings or training.
What You'll Be Doing Perform internal audits and case record reviews.
Develop and update instruments used to measure programmatic goals and outcomes.
Process and input data as needed through various internal and external data collection and reporting systems.
Assist departments in reporting and determination of outcomes through the Monthly Quality Improvement Compliance Meeting.
Conduct monitoring site visits, inspections of offices, review case files, and interviews with staff, sponsors, and children.
Provide technical assistance, support, and on-going guidance to ensure service provisions are being met.
Assist and guide programs with creating policy and procedures.
Evaluates case files, internal database and portal for documentation and completeness.
Conduct audits or content review of cases (physical and electronic) to ensure proper reunification progress or identify delays.
Address findings with supervisors.
Maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics, and additional relevant information in accordance with agency policy, licensing, and/or funding requirements.
Monitor child and family services, ensure timelines are being met, confirm appointments are made, and conduct follow-up interviews with sponsors and child.
Facilities policy and quality assurance training that promotes professional growth and compliance.
Able to react to change productively, fast-paced environment, and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
Work evenings, and on call as needed to assist with programmatic services.
Attend external and internal program training and meetings when required.
