What you're great at: Maintains the upkeep of the propertyMaintains property based on standard operating proceduresDetermines material, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete tasksOrders all supplies promptly to complete projectsIs responsible for some construction, painting, electrical and plumbingPerforms general repairs as needed, such as painting, constructing and patching walls, security hardware, and landscapingPerforms a variety of skilled work in maintenance, repairs including carpentry, plumbing, filter maintenance, and light fixture maintenanceCoordinates or inspects, operates and maintains the heating, cooling and ventilation systemsEstablishes an employee work schedule and plans daily work assignmentsPerforms and coordinates tasks, such as scheduling of maintenance functions to be performed by maintenance personnelProvides training, technical assistance, and supervision for other employeesAssists in the counsel and discipline employeesIs responsible for complying with all safety regulations (OSHA) and company safety rulesPerforms all other duties as assignedResponsibilities listed may not include all tasks or apply to all resort locations, an official job description will be provided and signed on the first day of employment. Here's what you have already achieved: High School Diploma or GED preferredHave a valid driver's license and proof of insuranceHave and maintain a good driving record clear of significant violationsMinimum of two years of experience as a maintenance supervisor or experience/education equivalenceCertified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (APO) certificationHazardous material handling training within six (6) months of hire dateOne (1) year experience in the care, maintenance, and repair of large, commercial or public swimming pools and associated equipment and facilitiesAdvanced resort related maintenance systems knowledge.Ability to perform maintenance duties, such as plumbing, electrical, construction, and paintingProficient knowledge of OSHA guidelines and regulationsAbility to multi-task and handle all maintenance issues
