Farnsworth Group is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Land Development Team in our Bloomington, IL office. Qualified candidates will be responsible for providing our private owners and municipal clients with cost effective, user friendly, and attractive developments as well as developing new client relationships.
Job Activities: Plan, design and manage a variety of private owner driven civil engineering projectsCollaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplinesAttend city staff and council/ board meetingsCommunicate with clients regarding current and future projectsOrganize and complete projects from inception to completionAssist with business development efforts Specific Requirements include: BS in Civil Engineering10+ years of civil engineering experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) LicenseExperience working with private owner projects and clientsAbility to effectively manage clients and participate in business development activitiesStrong team player that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneouslyAutoCAD and Civil 3D experience requiredContract and negotiating skills About Farnsworth Group Farnsworth Group is an award winning, employee-owned engineering, architecture, and surveying firm with more than 500 employees located in nearly 30 offices nationwide.
