Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary: Takes x-ray exposures of patients as requested by referring physicians, explains procedures, and ensures patient safety.
Processes films and prepares reports.

Essential Responsibilities: Greet and guide patients through x-ray procedures.
Review patient history and obtain necessary consent forms.
Take x-ray exposures following protocol.
Process and inspect images for radiologist review.
Maintain equipment and inventory of supplies.
Prepare patient files and submit reports.
Perform other related duties as directed.
Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required, along with formal training in radiologic technology.
Active Radiologic Technologist License in Virginia, Basic Life Support, and Certification required.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, ability to lift 50 pounds, and proficiency in relevant computer software.
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum one year experience as a radiologic technologist.

Work Location: Tyson's Corner Medical Center, Virginia.
