Job Description




AECOM is seeking a Rail Project Manager in Kansas City, Chicago, Omaha, Dallas, Houston and Seattle.
This is a contingent position.




Assignments will include the following:




Build and be part of a rail & civil design group of approximately 3-5 total employees




Perform project management responsibilities on all new projects and become a certified AECOM project manager within 1 year of hire date




Develop and execute a strong marketing plan to target RFP's and sole sourced work from BNSF Railway, assist with marketing for KCS Railroad, and develop relationships with other municipalities in and around the Kansas City Metro area, including railroad industry clients and short-line railroads




Lead design and plan production efforts on projects in order to maintain high quality, meet schedules, and stay within project budgets




Lead Kansas City Rail/Civil group to a successful and sustainable level of backlog of work to support utilization goals important to the company's success within 6 months




Mentor staff to help them learn, enjoy and grow in their roles, while supporting and becoming familiar, passionate, and able to enjoy the core values and culture at AECOM




Qualifications




Minimum Qualifications:




BA/BS + 6 years of related experience and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education




Preferred Qualifications:




8 years of related experience in rail and project managements




BS in Civil Engineering




PE certified




Experience with Microstation V8/XM/SS2, GeoPak, SITE Modeler, InRoads, and AutoCAD

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $150,000.
