Real Estate Attorney, Svp

Korn Ferry is actively recruiting a seasoned, broad-based real estate attorney, on behalf of a real estate investment firm that focuses on acquiring and developing multifamily properties nationally.


This will be a Senior Vice President Attorney Counsel role.


The ideal candidate for hire will have 7+ years of legal corporate and transactional experience that include acquisitions, joint ventures, sales, development, construction, and financings for commercial and or private owned multifamily real estate assets.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
•As the sole attorney, you will manage acquisitions, joint ventures, sales, development, construction and financings of private owned multifamily real estate assets for the firm and affiliates' investments
•Manage corporate matters, such as fund formations, compliance, insurance and litigation
•Work with the structured bridge lending program on originating mortgages, mezzanine and preferred equity financing

REQUIREMENTS:
•7+ years of corporate and real estate transactional legal experience, working as an attorney at a law firm and or as in-house counsel
•Strong academic credentials
•Strategic thinker, commercial attorney, with a strong presence, that can work independently
•Must be broad based real estate attorney with any type of private equity type of matters

COMPENSATION Range: Base $350K-$375K plus bonus
