About Us Richter Restrepo PLLC is a midtown Manhattan affordable housing, community development, construction, real estate and litigation boutique law firm.
We provide legal services in connection with commercial real estate transactions, affordable housing development transactions, construction contracts and disputes, and real property and business litigation, for both for profit and non-profit organizations, including transitional and supportive housing.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate/Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in real estate transactional law and some experience with real estate related experience.
Experience in affordable housing development, while not required, will be viewed favorably.
The candidate will support the litigation practice of the Firm, so some amount of litigation experience is a plus.
The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products and a genuine interest in real estate law and community development.

Key Responsibilities: Support attorneys with all aspects of real estate transactions, including residential, commercial, and development projects.
Draft, review, and organize real estate documents, including but not limited to purchase agreements, leases, access/license agreements, closing, construction contracts, architectural agreements, and limited liability company operating agreements  Draft, review and organize litigation documents and file litigation documents on NYSCEF.
Assist with due diligence in real estate transactions, including title review and searches, and document review.
Prepare closing statements and binders.
Liaise with clients, title companies, lenders, and other third parties involved in transactions and/or litigation matters.
Conduct basic legal research as requested  Qualifications: Education: Paralegal certification or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum of 2 -5 years of real estate/litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint).
Familiarity with CLIO, ACRIS Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Certifications: Paralegal certificate preferred, or an associate's/bachelor's degree in legal studies.
Other Requirements Proof of the ability to work legally in the United States.
