ResponsibilitiesThis position will comply with bank and investor guidelines with portfolio and investor mortgage loans, conducting required functions for special asset management.
Essential Responsibilities: Executes claims and reporting tasks to safeguard the bank's interests by:Adhering to guidelines set by investors, guarantors, and regulatory entities for accurate reportingManaging audits conducted by TENA and third party HUD quality controlSuccessfully resolving claim disputes brought by mortgage insurance, guarantors, and investor loan entitiesAdministering insurance claims for both partial and total loss scenariosOverseeing the workflow for maintaining Other Real Estate Owned (OREO)Assists with conducting reviews, preparing write-ups, and managing charge offs and write downsFacilitating release requests by preparing, reviewing and distributing relevant documentationSupporting the collection and servicing staff by performing additional duties when required.Other duties as assigned or directedMaintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely mannerQualificationsEducation, Training and Requirements: High School Diploma or GED requiredWork evenings, holiday and weekends as neededAll applicants must be 18 years of age or olderSkills: Proficient reading, writing, and grammar skillsExcellent mathematical skillsThorough knowledge of ExcelAble to demonstrate ability to analyze data from reports/workbooksProficient communicative skillsHighly organized; results driven with competency to meet demands of proficiency, effectiveness, and efficiencyMust be collaborative, have the ability to adapt and reprioritize, and have an independently objective mindsetMust be able to consistently demonstrate the Company's core values: a strong work ethic, integrity, respect for others, responsibility, transparency and humilityExperience: Minimum of two (2) years Collections or Servicing experience preferredOther Job InformationHours: 40 hours/week; Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30; some weekends, evenings and holidays may be required
Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
