We Are Seeking
The Town of Gilbert is seeking enthusiastic, "kids-oriented" Recreation Leaders to staff its annual kids camp programs.
Kidz Kamp camp recreation leaders work during the Gilbert Public School's seasonal school breaks, anywhere from 10 to 25 per week and help kids enjoy activities such as arts & crafts, music, science, drama, dance, sports, games, special events and field trips.
Kidz kamps are a weekly "drop-in" style program for children 5 – 12 years of age that includes a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
At Team Gilbert, we hire outcome-oriented problem solvers who love what they do!
Here are some position requirements:
Age Requirement: Must be 16+ years old
Six months of experience assisting with recreation programs preferred.
Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for the job.
Possess and maintain Red Cross certificates for CPR and Standard First Aid
About You
Ideal candidates will show strong initiative, an energetic personality, great interpersonal skills, patience with children and creativity in the program areas mentioned above.
Those selected must be available for the entire season.
This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt eligible for overtime compensation.
